GAP Adaptive Championship

The GAP Adaptive Championship is a 36-hole, two-day competition. A WR4GD-counting event gives golfers the opportunity to showcase their abilities at the highest level while creating an inclusive and enjoyable community event.

2026 Registration Opens April 15 at 9 a.m.

Registration for this premier two-day event will remain open until July 31. The championship field will feature 60 players.

Competition Format & Rules

The GAP Adaptive Open is a two-day, 36-hole stroke-play event with a maximum score format. Open to those with a WR4GD pass and active Handicap Index. Limited to 60 players of all genders, there will be overall champions for men and women, and individual champions in each sports classification. Ties for overall champions lead to a sudden death playoff, while other ties are resolved using USGA-recommended scorecard tie-breaking.

Rule 25: Modifications for Players with Disabilities

The USGA Rule 25 was crafted with inclusivity in mind, tailored to meet the unique needs of individuals with disabilities. Through thoughtful modifications, this rule aims to ensure that the game of golf remains accessible and accommodating for all players, regardless of their physical abilities.
